FAQs

What is a HealthLeaders Media Exchange?

We host a series of networking events consisting of selected senior healthcare executives. This is an invite-only event format where participants will discuss and discover best practices with the goal of propelling the business of healthcare to new levels of efficiency and success.

A typical schedule includes a welcome networking reception, three moderated editorial breakout sessions for executives, a 90-minute strategic think-tank session for each sponsor team featuring 5 executives, a choice of golf or other event, a group dinner, lunch and breakfasts.

How many days & what is the schedule? 

Events begin at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception and ends promptly at noon two days later. All executives and sponsor partners are required to stay through noon on Friday.

What happens in the 90-minute Sponsor Session?

We suggest our sponsor partners use the 90-minutes to discuss current industry topics and issues. In the room will be each sponsor’s own attendees and 5 executives selected by you.

We encourage a roundtable type of dialogue. The executives value and appreciate the sponsor’s support of the Exchange and are more engaged when a sponsor’s session is strategic and consultative in nature vs. a sales or product pitch.

At the end of the session, all executives will complete a survey that provides you with detailed feedback. We will facilitate the survey distribution and gather the completed surveys.

Can I attend a Breakout Session?

You may attend any Breakout Session. The moderator and executives participate in the discussion. In order to keep the conversations as unbiased and candid as possible, sponsor Q&A is reserved until the end.

Can I bring my spouse/significant other?

Yes you can. Spouses may attend the Wednesday networking reception and Thursday dinner. Spouses are welcome to attend all meals and social activities. They do not attend the Breakout Sessions or Sponsor Sessions.

Can I extend my stay at the venue?

Yes, you can, but it is based on availability. If members of the sponsor’s party would like to extend their stay at the resort, we can arrange that with the property and often at our discounted group rate. However, these resorts typically sell out on weekends and we cannot guarantee availability or rooms before or after our event.

What do I pay for?

Sponsorship fee, hotel rooms, flights and incidentals. Group meals and activities are covered in the sponsorship fee.

Is there a dress code?

Resort casual and whatever is appropriate for the desired afternoon activity.
